'Nuland’s admission shows just how disingenuous everything that western politicians tell their voters about Ukraine is
The admission was shocking. In an interview with an American journalist Victoria Nuland more or less admitted plainly that the reason why Boris Johnson was flown into Istanbul at the end of the peace talks between Ukraine and Russia was to scupper the deal, so that U.S. arms manufacturers could go ahead with their intended mega deals supplying the country, aligning it to NATO standards. She tells Ryan Grim of DropSiteNews that the peace deal – which gave Ukrainians land back which the Russians held – would have effectively neutered Ukraine blocking massive deals in the pipeline which would have reaped scores of billions of dollars for U.S. arms makers.
The admission is important for two main reasons. First it shows just how disingenuous everything that western politicians tell their voters about Ukraine is. Yes, there is an ideological rationale there of America and its allies wanting to hit Putin but it is not very convincing and at best looks increasingly lame as the months and years pass. Do senators in the U.S. like Lyndsey Graham really hate Russians so much? Or is it that they love money so much more and profit themselves from those megadeals coming together? The second point about the Nuland admission is that it casts a long shadow over western governments and their relationships with the military industrial complex and leaves the observer feeling that we have reached a new peak now with that sector and the ruling elites. The former no longer lobbies or informs the latter but controls it. Completely.
A third point which is possibly a parenthesis to the whole story is that slowly we are seeing the truth emerge, like repugnant liquid excrement oozing out of an old sack. And it stinks. Biden is just one more U.S. president who allowed the military industrial complex to control him and his erroneous so-called foreign policies which can really be summed up in a few words: wherever possible, go to war. We need wars.
But we in the West bit off far too much more than we could chew. In the early days of the Russian invasion the euphoria and confidence of Biden and Boris, not to mention Macron, was palpable. They genuinely believed that the war would be over in a matter of weeks. And that Russian sanctions would grind the economy down over a longer period of time bringing Putin to his knees...'

'The situation in Europe is getting so bad on so many different levels, the Brussels crowd had to bring in “Super” Mario Draghi to save the day — or at least write a report telling them what to do. Draghi has spent time at Goldman Sachs, the European Central Bank (ECB) during the sovereign debt crisis, and as unelected prime minister of Italy during the early days of the Covid pandemic and runup to Project Ukraine. Depending on where you sit, he could be an odd choice to chart a path forward; while Draghi knows his way around a crisis control center, he’s also plenty experienced at creating them. He was one of the chief architects of the EU’s disastrous economic war against Russia and he’s always been a grim reaper for working class citizens of his native country of Italy. No wonder that for months the neoliberal, war-loving spreadsheet crowd in Brussels has eagerly awaited the report as if it is manna from heaven that will help deliver them from the corner they have backed themselves into. Curiously, his report was delayed by months, which only increased the anticipation, and it finally dropped last week, conveniently timed at another crisis point. Project Ukraine is quickly unraveling and pressure is coming from all directions for Berlin to give the go ahead for joint EU debt in order to make the EU “competitive” again and buy a bunch of weapons to do something (nobody is too sure of what exactly) about Russia. Indeed, Draghi’s report doesn’t say, nor does it ever consider making nice with Moscow. That’s because the report, “EU Competitiveness: Looking Ahead” is a political document more than economic one intended to not only give cover to the bloc’s disastrous Russia policies, but continue to double down. And it is already being used as more ammunition for those in the Baltics, Poland, the media, US-funded think tanks in Europe, and more who are calling on Germany to support debt for an extended Cold War. Specifically, they wanted Super Mario to tell them how to get out of the predicament of their own making without changing course on Russia and a host of other issues, and Draghi delivered — as long as you don’t let reality get in the way. His answer? More money. Lots of it. He calls for massive infusions of cash into multiple sectors: green, tech, energy, and of course defense. According to Draghi, the price tag is a minimum of 800 billion euros annually until 2030. Asked if his message was “implement your report, or die?” he replied that “It’s ‘Do this, or it’s a slow agony.’”
The EU certainly needs an economic plan, but Draghi’s report never questions whether ongoing belligerence toward Moscow (and loss of pipeline Russian gas) is in the bloc’s best interest and it never mentions Brussels’ obsession with austerity, which is once again being forced on member countries. From a purely economic standpoint, the report is “trash” that reads like something out of the late-stage USSR, according to economist Philip Pilkington. But it does plug nicely into the political economy of today’s EU, which is being subsumed under Washington and NATO. It is engaged in open economic war and an proxy war in Ukraine against Russia, both of which have hurt working class citizens across the bloc. The austerity-obsessed EU is once again forcing its member states to enact austerity budgets. Draghi’s report was requested by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who is working to amass more power to her mostly unaccountable throne, and is one of many voices calling for a defense union and militarization and the ability to borrow and potentially levy taxes to pay for those debts. So while Draghi’s report is ostensibly about across-the-board bloc “competitiveness” (there’s plenty on weakening antitrust, for example), Russia still dominates the conversation in the halls of power. Von der Leyen wants to create an “air shield” against Russia. Her new defense minister is proposing a €100 billion (to start) eurobond issue to pay for more weapons to be used against Russia...'

Some basic rules of history; ***The majority always provides consent to the minority. The minority always determines the direction the majority follows (agenda) The majority always pays the price The majority owns the outcome, good or bad. 'The election in November will be rigged. This election rigging will not be done by Russia, or by China, or by Iran, or by far right coup plotters, or by some shadowy cabal tampering with voting machines. It will happen right out in the open, and will be perfectly legal. In fact, it’s already happening...'
I don’t care who Americans vote for in November, or if they vote at all. In order to care I’d have to believe US presidential elections matter.
But they don’t matter. No matter who wins, the empire wins. No matter who loses, the world loses.
No matter how things turn out this particular time around, Democrats and Republicans will continue to win roughly 50 percent of the time each, and the US-centralized empire will continue to trudge on unaffected by the results.
I don’t care how you vote. Vote for Harris or for Trump if that’s what you feel like doing. But I do think if you vote for either of those monsters, you should at least have the decency to feel gross about it. Like you did something very dirty and shameful in order to get by.
I just think that would be the mark of someone with a well-developed moral character, who’s entering into this thing without dissociation or compartmentalization. It would indicate that you live your life with your eyes wide open, being real about what’s real and not hiding from unpleasant truths to avoid feeling uncomfortable feelings.
Maybe you have some well-founded reasons for believing Trump or Harris is the lesser evil in this election. Maybe you can make some strong arguments that Harris will be a bit better on civil rights, or that Trump might be better on Ukraine. But what you definitely can’t do is make any rational case that as president either of them would be anything besides an immensely depraved mass murderer of unforgivable criminality.
If you want to vote for Harris, then vote for Harris. But do it with the full knowledge that you are voting for someone who has spent a year supporting genocidal atrocities, and who has been winning endorsements from some of the most evil warmongers ever to set foot in your nation’s capitol. At the very least have the decency to honor the mountains of victims who will suffer in ways you can’t even imagine under a Harris administration by casting your vote mournfully, resolute in your understanding that despite getting your vote as the perceived lesser evil, she is still your mortal enemy. At the very least you owe them that much.
Don’t have “joy” about it. Don’t do it proudly. Don’t make cutesy little memes or make it fun. You are doing something ugly, and it should feel a bit ugly.
If you want to vote for Trump, then vote for Trump. But do it with the understanding that he is being backed by some of the most virulent Zionists on earth and will throw his weight behind Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Don’t lie to yourself that he’s going to end the wars and fight the deep state. Be real about the inevitability that he will continue the warmongering of his predecessors and spend his term advancing the depraved longstanding agendas of the US intelligence cartel, just like he did last time.
Do it with a heavy heart. Do it with revulsion. Do it with the same amount of pride you would have if you were performing fellatio on a profoundly unkind man in exchange for hard drugs. That’s about the feeling it deserves.
If you do this, then I will believe you if you tell me you’re voting for who you sincerely believe is the lesser evil. If your emotional relationship with your vote for Harris or Trump is anything other than this, then you’re probably doing it for some other reason and not being real with yourself about it, like blind partisan team loyalty or something. If it doesn’t make you intensely uncomfortable, it’s because that’s where your comfort zone really is.
If we want to live in a truth-based society, then part of our role in helping to build that world is to be true to the truth and to be real about reality. Don’t hide things from yourself. Don’t compartmentalize away from unpleasant facts.
Act, and be real about what your actions are, and where they are coming from, and what their effects are likely to be.
This is the first step to becoming an authentic human being. -Caitlin Johnstone
'...There is no escape from debt. Paying for the government’s fictitious promises in paper money will result in a constantly depreciating currency, thereby impoverishing those who earn a wage or have savings. Inflation is the hidden tax, and it is very convenient for governments because they always blame shops or businesses and present themselves as the solution by printing even more currency. Governments want more inflation to reduce the impact of the enormous debt and unfunded liabilities in real terms. They know they can’t tax you more, so they will tax you indirectly by destroying the purchasing power of the currency they issue...'

The British Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General Say Putin’s Red Lines Can Be Ignored Because He Never Enforces Them “There have been many red lines declared by Putin before, and he has not escalated.” — NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg
Paul Craig Roberts: As I warned would happen, Putin declared wolf so many times no one believes him when he is finally serious. Except perhaps the US military. The Pentagon seems to have told the White House and Secretary of State to stand down from approving use of long range missiles to attack Russia. Otherwise we are on the verge of nuclear war.
The irresponsible recklessness of the White House and Secretary of State Blinken should frighten every American and result in turning every Democrat out of office in November and in the termination of the presstitute media, a collection of liars extremely dangerous to the continued existence of life on earth. But watch insouciant Americans vote for Democrats who have led the world to the brink of nuclear war. Watch them continue to absorb CNN lies, read the NY Times, and listen to NPR. 'Here he goes again, cap in hand, begging for the alms of war. The Illusion of a Solution
'...The assassinating missile is a poor substitute to addressing the reasons why such an idea came into being. A dead or mutilated body merely offers assurance that power might have won the day for a moment, a situation offering only brief delight to military strategists and the journalists keeping tabs on the morgue’s latest additions. It is easy, then, to ignore why Hezbollah became a haunting consequence of Israel’s bungling invasion and occupation of Lebanon in 1982. Easy to also ignore the 1985 manifesto, with its reference to the organisation’s determination to combat Israel and those it backed, such as the Christian Phalangist allies in the Lebanese Civil War, and to remove the Israeli occupying force.
Such oblique notions as “degrading” the capacity of an ideological, religious group hardly addresses the broader problem. The subsequent shoots from a savage pruning can prove ever more vigorous. The 1992 killing of Hezbollah’s secretary-general Abbas al-Musawi, along with his wife and son, merely saw the elevation of Nasrallah. Nasrallah turned out to be a more formidable, resourceful and eloquent proposition. He also pushed other figures to the fore, such as the recently assassinated Fuad Shukr, who became an important figure in obtaining the group’s vast array of long-range rockets and precision-guided missiles.
Ibrahim Al-Marashi of California State University, San Marcos, summarises the efforts of Israel’s high-profile killing strategy as shortsighted feats of miscalculation. “History shows every single Israeli assassination of a high-profile political or military operator, even after being initially hailed as a game-changing victory, eventually led to the killed leader being replaced by someone more determined, adept and hawkish.” Another Nasrallah is bound to be in tow, with several others in incubation.' '...Iran’s attacks “escalate”; Israel’s attacks “expand the conflict”. Lebanon’s attacks are “terrorism”; Israel’s attacks are “self-defense”. Russia launched an “invasion”; Israel launched a “limited ground operation”. Destroying Gaza is a “response to October 7”; October 7 was “unprovoked”. When their guys do it it’s bad, when our guys do it it’s cool. Hypocrisy runs rife throughout the western empire because the western empire is not what it pretends to be. It pretends to stand for peace and stability when it really stands for war and domination. It pretends to stand for human rights when it really stands for tyranny and abuse. It pretends to stand for truth and justice when it really stands for lies and propaganda. This is the dystopia we were born into, and it’s got us on a trajectory toward somewhere very bad. Buckle up.'

On the markets, Nenner thinks there is going to be a stock market crash that will be equal to or greater than the Great Depression market crash in 1929. Nenner says, “We are telling our clients to get out of stocks...We have zero stocks.”
Nenner also thinks gold is the place to be for the next three years. Nenner thinks Gold is going much higher. On interest rates, Nenner says they are going higher too, and real estate and bonds are going lower. This is the longer term trend in Nenner’s cycle.
When will this market crash come? Nenner says, It’s still going to take half a year or a year until everybody realizes how bad the situation is compared to the BRIC countries. The dollar is not going to be the major currency. Nixon stopped backing it by Gold, and Saudia Arabia stopped backing it by oil. It is not backed by anything. So, why would you trust the dollar? Investigation reveals Israeli troops committing first ever 'live streamed genocide' The new documentary compiles footage of war crimes committed and posted online by Israeli soldiers in Gaza This feature length investigation by Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit exposes Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip through the medium of photos and videos posted online by Israeli soldiers themselves during the year long conflict. The I-Unit has built up a database of thousands of videos, photos and social media posts. Where possible it has identified the posters and those who appear. The material reveals a range of illegal activities, from wanton destruction and looting to the demolition of entire neighbourhoods and murder. The film also tells the story of the war through the eyes of Palestinian journalists, human rights workers and ordinary residents of the Gaza Strip. And it exposes the complicity of Western governments – in particular the use of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus as a base for British surveillance flights over Gaza. “The west cannot hide, they cannot claim ignorance. Nobody can say they didn’t know,” says Palestinian writer, Susan Abulhawa. This is “the first livestream genocide in history … If people are ignorant they are wilfully ignorant,” she says.

OIL and IRAN...
'After a long epoch of relative peace and prosperity for many that began after the end of the 2nd World War and continued up until the inception of the Covid power play at the end of 2019, the world has entered a time of tumultuous change and upheaval that looks set to continue at least until the end of this decade.
The central reason for these changes is that, confronted with the growing ascent of Asian powers and the impending collapse of the debt based financial system in the West that threatens to eliminate the dollar as the world reserve currency, the entrenched Neocon – Zionist forces that control the United States have mobilized to assert their hegemony through the use of force.
The process started late in 2019 through 2021 with the Covid Plandemic and vaccination campaign whose purpose was the implementation of dictatorial powers globally and to control and eventually cull large numbers of people deemed to be superfluous, especially given that they can increasingly be replaced by AI and robots.
Then we saw the attack on the food supply through the burning down of countless food processing plants and the deployment of weather weapons to wreck harvests etc, which is ongoing as we have just seen in the Carolinas where it is understood that the plan is to herd the local population into 15 minute cities and start large scale lithium mining which the locals were in the way of.
We have also witnessed the assertion or attempted assertion of global dominance over the BRICS through military means in 3 main theaters – the Ukraine as a springboard to attack Russia, Israel mobilising to expand its territory in pursuit of its dream of a Greater Israel to be achieved via the elimination of the Palestinians and the beating down and subjugating of all the Arab and Muslim states surrounding it and lastly Taiwan which is to be used as a springboard to attack China. The reason that conflict is inevitable and has already started is that the intended victims of all this aggression have an aversion to being killed or subjugated and a natural motivation to fight back.
With respect to the first theater of operation, the Ukraine, which was used as a vehicle to attack Russia financially and militarily in order to bring it down, the hegemon’s plans have not gone at all well. Russia’s invasion of Eastern Ukraine, which was to protect the oppressed ethnic Russians there from abuse and stop Ukraine’s forward deployment of missiles in the region to threaten Russia, was used as an excuse by the West to impose heavy sanctions on it. These sanctions have backfired badly as Russia simply turned to Eastern markets and so Europe has been left “hanging in the wind” with Germany’s economy in particular being wrecked by having its access to cheap energy from Russia cut off. Russia meanwhile has gone from strength to strength and its economy is booming. Militarily the campaign has been a disaster for the West which thought it could defeat Russia by funnelling vast quantities of arms and military equipment and cash to it, as well as clandestine military advisors and mercenaries etc. Russia’s disciplined, serious and professional army has relentlessly ground all of it down so that Ukraine has no more troops to feed into the “meat grinder” and is now reduced to conscripting old men and teenagers. Meanwhile most of the arms and military equipment have been wrecked and can’t be replaced fast enough because Europe and the US no longer have the industrial capacity to produce it at a sufficient rate but on the plus side the destruction of all this kit makes possible generous resupply contracts from US arms manufacturers to the great benefit of all who expedite this. The final ploy, which was to supply Ukraine with highly sophisticated missiles with which to strike targets deep in Russia failed when Russia, via back channels, made it plain that if this plan was signed off on, it would be seen as a declaration of war and that Russia would then nuke the West. Keir Starmer, the British Prime Minister, flew to the US with all the papers ready to sign, but then backed off at the last minute. Russia has therefore succeeded in facing down the West.
This is not to say, however, that nothing has been achieved by Zelensky and the West. Zelensky (himself a Jew) has succeeded in clearing Ukraine of its population so that it can now be taken over a new Jewish homeland – what is now Ukraine is geographically the old Jewish Khazaria hundreds of years ago. Meanwhile, Blackrock and Vanguard have acquired vast tracts of land in the Ukraine. In addition he has been able to funnel a good portion of the billions of dollars so generously given by US taxpayers into the pockets of himself and his fellow gangsters in Ukraine and to US politicians and arms manufacturers. So there is certainly a silver lining to it all for some.
Another huge benefit to the US empire from all that has happened this decade so far is that Europe has effectively been neutered as a major economic player on the world stage. They have skillfully steered Europe into committing economic suicide. First they blew up the Nordstream pipeline, cutting off Europe’s Access to cheap Russian energy which would also have fostered general economic cooperation between Europe and Russia then they propagandized Europe into believing that Russia was their enemy when the truth is that Russia only ever wanted cordial and friendly relations with the West. It’s worth keeping in mind that the Neocons are largely a bunch of nasty old men (sometimes younger men) who grew up hating Russia as the Soviet Union, still have this mindset, and still want to conquer it. For them the world is a chess board and they’ve got no problem killing millions or even billions of people to gain a tactical advantage. So Europe has wasted billions of euros supporting Ukraine in its hostilities with Russia which has been money pushed straight down the drain. How was all of this possible? – how could European leaders have been this stupid? – the answer is that they are all, with the honorable exception of the leaders of Hungary and Serbia, corrupt and bought off by The Hegemon. Basically Europe is a collection of servile vassal states that take their marching orders from Washington.
Now we come to the second theater of operation, the Mid-East, which is the subject of this article because of its possible impact on the oil price. (the 3rd theater of operation, Taiwan, doesn’t warrant much attention at this juncture, because the action there hasn’t started yet). Israel and the (Zionist) US are in a race against time and moving to assert dominance over the region before the BRICS gain too much power and the dollar collapses. Once the dollar collapses they will no longer be in a position to do this. Israel has never made any secret of the fact that it has no intention of living in peace and harmony with its Arab neighbors – it intends to dominate them and subjugate them and kill them if they get in the way, as is now obvious to anyone. Its territorial aspirations are shown on the following map…
The march towards a greater Israel has already begun with the ongoing elimination of the Palestianians in Gaza and increasingly on the West Bank and now they are moving to obliterate and take over southern Lebanon but the biggest prize is of course Iran which they have managed to goad into lobbing a load of missiles at them.
Now how, you may ask, can a currently tiny country with a population of only 9 million aspire to dominate the entire Mid-East? Where does it get the economic and military power to do this? The answer is simple – Jews / Israel control the United States which they can direct to do anything they want, as Ariel Sharon once said “Don’t worry, we control America”. Think of Israel as a farmer at a State fair leading a prize bull around that has a ring through its nose and you will understand the relationship. Don’t believe me? – watch Benjamin Nethanyahu’s recent address to Congress where an already convicted war criminal was given more than 50 standing ovations. By chance I happened to watch this speech live. Having seen some of Biden’s singularly unimpressive speeches I thought to myself “There – there’s the real President of the United States!” To Nethanyahu’s credit he at least dressed in an appropriate manner for the occasion, unlike Zelensky who looks like he’s fresh from a dumpster diving expedition and he presented some convincing arguments for those who have no knowledge of history and are susceptible to being continuously lied to and are bought off, which pretty much all of Congress is. After watching this I realized that there is no hope for the US which is now a “tear down” – the corruption is now so total that the country has to collapse and start over. Trump is not the solution.
So, since Israel draws its limitless economic and military support from the US, which it controls, it is clear that the way to bring it to heel is to drastically reduce the economic power of the US and that can only be achieved by the world abandoning the US dollar standard. This is what the BRICS is all about and the BRICS are rapidly expanding with many new countries joining and at some point they will probably introduce a gold-backed currency. The BRICS look set to make major strides at the upcoming KAZAN conference starting on the 22nd of this month. It is the advance of the BRICS and the concomitant move away from the dollar that is impelling the US Neocons with a sense of urgency to assert dominance by the use of force.
This brings us to the immediate question of Iran. Having lobbed a load of missiles at Israel on the 1st of this month, which had a measure of success but clearly did not neutralize its air force which continues to wreak havoc on Gaza and Lebanon, the world now waits for the expected Israeli counter attack. Israel likes to cause wanton destruction on a massive scale as we have all seen on our televisions and clearly they will attempt to inflict this on Iran, which has been a Neocon – Zionist ambition for decades so the question is, can Iran protect itself both from attack by Israeli warplanes and missiles? It is understood that Russia has sent quite advanced systems but it is not known if they are “up to the task”. So, we will just have to wait and see. It is also believed that Iran has some hypersonic missiles in reserve that could cause serious devastation in Israel. This is a situation that could easily get out of hand as it cannot be ruled out, especially with Nethayahu in command, that Israel won’t use its arsenal of nukes on Iran, and Iran always has the option of blocking the Straits of Hormuz through which some 30% of the world’s oil flows. Complicating the situation still further is that the Globalists may want this to happen as if the oil price spikes and the world economy collapses, they can then blame it on Iran rather than the real reason which is many years of exponentially expanding debt and money creation. This alone makes such a calamitous train of events more likely.
In considering the likelihood of Israel bombing Iran’s oil facilities we must take account of what may be termed “differential advantage”. A fine example of this is The Hegemon’s recent sabotage of the European economy by blowing up the Nordstream pipeline and starting a war in Europe – everyone suffers but the US suffers less, so this is considered an advantage (by the Hegemon). So if we now factor in that China is much more dependent on Iranian oil than the US is – it’s believed to import something like 40% of its oil from Iran – then the motivation for Israel to strike Iran’s oil facilities and encourage Iran to block the Straits of Hormuz becomes clear – it will be to disadvantage Iran. Higher oil prices also benefit powerful vested interests. Bombing Iran is also a direct way to punish a BRICS nation. Where the situation becomes a lot more dangerous is if Russia and even China take exception to Iran being subjected to heavy bombing campaigns. Both have good relations with Iran which they view as an important strategic and trading partner. In this case we may see one or both step in to defend Iran and then we really are looking at a Third World War.
So, this is a very dangerous time and an attack on Iran may be imminent. For those of you who are of a more esoteric persuasion, the astrology of this time is also exceptional, for we have a bright comet, soon to be visible in the evening sky with a possibly long tail, which traditionally is considered to be a harbinger of major events, an asteroid whirling around very close to the Earth, an annular eclipse of the Sun a day after Iran blasted Israel with missiles, and Pluto (symbolizing among other things mass destruction and ruling nuclear power) stationary in the last degree of Capricorn (government and structures etc). So, to put it mildly, we live in interesting times).
Now to review briefly the latest charts for Crude Oil.
Starting with the 8-month chart for Light Crude, we see that, hardly surprisingly, it has risen sharply over the past week in response to Iran’s missile attack on Israel, for the obvious reason that this invites a counter strike from Israel, that may include attacks on Iran’s oil facilities, made more likely, as mentioned above, by it being an opportunity to get at China, which imports a lot of Iranian oil. If this happens then oil could “go ballistic”, although this might perhaps be considered a poor choice of words given the circumstances. Right now this is a heavily lopsided trade, with a lot of speculators betting on this with Calls etc, so if the attack doesn’t happen almost immediately, the price could back off, especially as we would ordinarily call oil a short here as its overall trend is down with its moving averages in bearish alignment and it has risen up into a zone of resistance.
Looking now at the 5-year chart for Light Crude it looks like a large top has been forming since mid-2021, especially given that the world economy is tipping into recession / depression as the gargantuan debt bubble readies to pop but as this chart also shows, freak moves can occur, as happened during the Covid plunge in the Spring of 2020 and if Israel knocks out a significant part of Iran’s oil facilities, then it could spike in the other direction and easily fly off the top of the chart.
Finally, Israel’s actions demonstrate that it has no understanding of the laws of karma and is imbued with a sense of absolute impunity and this is not confined to the political class or to the military for the ordinary people demonstrating on the streets in Israel are only concerned for the fate of the hostages and couldn’t care less about the thousands of Palestinians who have been slaughtered, many of whom are children. So, as surely as night follows day, Israel will in the future and perhaps the not too distant future, as Benjamin Netanyahu is fond of saying “pay a very heavy price” for what it has done.' -Clive P. Maund

Russia declaring Silver as an asset has changed the game!
Meanwhile...
Rule 1: Recorded history began on October 7 2023. Maybe some things happened before that date, but nobody can remember.
Rule 2: Anything bad that Israel does is justified by Rule 1. This is true even if it does things that would be considered completely unjustifiable if it were done by a nation like Russia or Iran.
Rule 3: Israel has a right to defend itself, but nobody else does.
Rule 4: Israel never bombs civilians, it bombs terrorists. If shocking numbers of civilians die it’s because they were actually terrorists, or because terrorists killed them, or because a terrorist stood too close to them. If none of those reasons apply then it’s for some other mysterious reason we are still waiting for the IDF to investigate.
Rule 5: Criticizing anything Israel does means you hate Jewish people. There is no other reason anyone could possibly oppose military explosives being dropped on areas packed full of children besides a seething, obsessive hatred for a small Abrahamic faith.
Rule 6: Nothing Israel does is ever as bad as the hateful criticisms described in Rule 5. Criticism of Israel’s actions is always worse than Israel’s actions themselves, because those critics hate Jews and wish to commit another Holocaust. Preventing this must consume 100 percent of our political energy and attention.
Rule 7: Israel can never be the victimizer, it can only ever be the victim. If Israel attacks Lebanon, it’s because Hezbollah attacked it completely unprovoked while Israel was innocently minding its own business trying to commit a little genocide in peace. If people protest against Israel bombing entire cities into dust, then Israel is the victim because the protests made Israel’s supporters feel sad.
Rule 8: The fact that Israel is literally always in a state of war with its neighbors and with displaced indigenous populations must be interpreted as proof that Rule 7 is true instead of proof that Rule 7 is ridiculous nonsense.
Rule 9: Arab lives are much, much less important to us than western lives or Israeli lives. Nobody is allowed to think too hard about why this might be.
Rule 10: The media always tell the truth about Israel and its various conflicts. If you doubt this then you are likely in violation of Rule 5.
Rule 11: Unsubstantiated claims which portray Israel’s enemies in a negative light may be reported as factual news stories without any fact checking or qualifications, while extensively evidenced records of Israeli criminality must be reported on with extreme skepticism and doubtful qualifiers like “Lebanon says” or “according to the Hamas-run health ministry”. This is important to do because otherwise you might get accused of being a propagandist.
Rule 12: Israel must continue to exist in its current iteration no matter what it costs or how many people need to die. There is no need to present any logically or morally grounded reasons why this is the case. If you dispute this then you are likely in violation of Rule 5.
Rule 13: The US government has never lied about anything ever, and is always on the right side of every conflict.
Rule 14: (Americans only) Nothing that happens in the middle east is as urgent or significant as making sure the correct person wins the US presidential election. Ignore any inconvenient facts which distract you from this mission of unparalleled importance.
Rule 15: Israel must be protected because it is the last bastion of freedom and democracy in the middle east, no matter how many journalists it has to assassinate, no matter how many press institutions it needs to shut down, no matter how many protests its supporters need to dismantle, no matter how much free speech it needs to eliminate, no matter how many civil rights it needs to erase, and no matter how many elections its lobbyists need to buy....More here

'Netanyahu is burying any chance of Israeli Jews being able to live in peace with their Arab neighbours for decades to come...'
What Has Israel Achieved In The Last Year? - by Arch Bungle A recent comment by Arch Bungle has been lauded by several commentators. It deserves, slightly edited, its own thread. Exile | Oct 25 2024 7:49 utc | 145 Arch - can you repost your recap summary list of the last year of failures ( strategic, etc) ? Arch Bungle | Oct 25 2024 8:28 utc | 148 Posted by: Exile | Oct 25 2024 7:49 utc | 145 Gladly (with some recent additions):
What has Israel achieved in the last year? Let's take a stone cold sober recap, I've compiled a list of the top 29 accomplishments of Israel in 2024:
1. Israel has essentially lost territory in the north of Occupied Palestine. Hezbollah's rocket barrages over the last eleven months has driven the settler population out of the North. This is likely permanent. Israel's settler population in the Gaza envelope has also been thinned out since the 7 October attacks. Moreover, current ongoing attacks from Yemen, Iraq, Iran and Lebanon are depopulating Israel.
2. The Houthi have put an unbreakable chokehold on the Red Sea and all Red Sea shipping. There is no way to break this chokehold. The USN and all other Western navies have tried for almost 12 months and failed utterly. Attempts to conduct strikes on the Houthi, including massive strikes on core infrastructure in Hodeida have yielded ZERO results over a period of almost a year. The Israelis are to thank for this achievement.
3. The cementing of Hezbollah as the primary military force in Lebanon: Hezbollah's Radwan forces have proven capable of protecting Lebanon's southern borders with Palestine. All attempts by the IDF and their supporting American Special Forces to take control of this area and drive the Radwan forces back have failed.
4. The ensured survival of Hamas: Hamas in the Gaza strip persists after almost a year. For months they've demonstrated ability to strike IDF forces daily, destroying IDF ground equipment and troops. This is true, even if incremental in nature. Hamas is still able to launch rockets on the Gaza envelope. This means their rocket manufacturing facilities are still functional. Hamas has demonstrated staying power and resilience. Compared to Fatah in the West Bank, Hamas has demonstrated an ability and willingness to actualize the Palestinian desire for self determination. Due to Israel's excessive response to 7 October, Fatah has been permanently sidelined. Hamas will forever be known as the true face of Palestinian resistance.
5. The validation of Hezbollah's resilience: Despite eliminating one (1) component of the Hezbollah leadership, Hezbollah has reconstituted its leadership structure. It's most senior leadership council, the Shura is still intact. Despite a technically brilliant infiltration of the communications infrastructure supply chain by Israel and after a massive air strike involving rarely used bunker buster missiles, Israel has failed to dent the combat capability or even morale of Hezbollah.
6. Hezbollah has established, for the first time in history, a buffer zone cleared of Israelis within the held territory of 'Israel' (Occupied Palestine).
7. Recent and previous strikes carried out by the IRGC on Tel Aviv showed the failure of the Iron Dome and the failure of ALL Israel's air defense systems. David's Sling. Arrow. Patriot. Moreover, the air defense systems of Israel's satraps (Jordan) were also proven to fail. Further, the interception systems of the USN were proven to be inadequate. This has massive implications for war-gaming a conflict between the US and Iran. It means that the US will have to consider the fact that regardless of what it may inflict on Iran, it will not be able to shield anyone and itself against a concurrent Iranian retaliation. Moreover, the US must now acknowledge that Iran has the ability to destroy it's carrier groups. Marine power projection is therefore no longer of any use in the Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Gulf of Oman ... It must now recalculate all it's previous attack plans.
8. The hardening of Hezbollah positions in the South of Lebanon: Despite the spectacular and tragic strikes Israel has carried out on Beirut the essential damage is limited to civilian blocks and civilian villages in the south. It appears that very little of Israel's considerable air firepower has harmed Hezbollah itself. Hezbollah not only remains lodged there but the creation of rubble and destruction has provided them future cover and shelter. The net effect of these strikes has been to galvanize Hezbollah's fighters, drive Hezbollah recruitment, set world opinion firmly against Israel. The global environment for Israelis, Zionists and sadly, even non-Zionist Jews has been polluted on account of Netanyahu's actions in Beirut. On the other side of the equation, the IDF has wasted substantial amounts of materiel on killing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure. Infrastructure which has nothing to do with the threat posed by Hezbollah. While the US has put its entire arsenal at Israel's disposal these materials are far from infinite and will run out soon - or become so expensive that it begins place further pressures on the U.S economy and logistics chains.
9. The US' ongoing Iraq Occupation is coming apart at the seams: Despite the US presence in Iraq, it is demonstrably unable to exert any influence on the Iraqi resistance movements there, who launch increasingly sophisticated missile and drone attacks from Iraqi territory under the noses of US garrisons. In addition, the behavior of Israel has stimulated anti-US activity in Iraq and will shortly result in a violent ejection of U.S forces from that country regardless of the current puppet government's attempts to retain the U.S presence. It may take years to complete but the ejection of American forces from Iraq is all but assured now that the Hashds have demonstrated the ability to use substantial lethal force.
10. The Syrian occupation is coming apart at the seams: Strikes against U.S bases in Syria have become a weekly occurrence now. The resistance movements in Syria have shown that they have the capability to put American bases under constant pressure. The U.S will shortly lose it's comfortable perch on the Conoco oil fields in Syria and with it, control of the spigot to the various anti-government militant movements in the region ... and with that, control of Syria. Turkey and Russia have become confident to bomb ISIS and Kurdish proxies in Syria. In short, Israel's needless bloodlust has imperiled the US' ongoing occupation of the entire Middle East.
11. Israel has destabilized Jordan. Iran has pushed Jordan (and others) into showing their cards at the middle eastern poker table. The government of Jordan has been exposed as a completely controlled satrap of Israel. Its national interests are completely subordinate to Israel and the USA above and beyond the interests of Jordanian people. This begins the countdown to the end of the regime of King Abdullah of Jordan and his administration.
12. Israel has sown the seeds of destabilization in Egypt. Iran has pushed Jordan and Egypt into showing their cards at the middle eastern poker table. Egypt has been exposed as a complete satrap of the US and Israel, completely subordinate to the needs of the Zionist entity. Every Egyptian, with warm memories of Gamal Abdel Nasser would probably be weeping at this point. The only thing that keeps the Egyptian population from toppling their government at this time is the Egyptian military. It will unfortunately remain so until the right catalyst arrives to light the spark of revolution ... However, the net result of all these increasing strains within Egypt is to increase sympathies for the Palestinian people, opening up smuggling lines into Gaza.
13. The perception of Western Moral and Civilizational Superiority has been utterly destroyed. The fact that Western Colonialism is alive and well and that Western Civilization is morally bankrupt has been been exposed to the Global South. This moral bankruptcy has been manifested firstly at the level of it's governments and secondly at the level of it's apathetic populations who support the actions of their governments. The result of this is that the Global South is now able to weaponize diplomacy in every forum with Western powers. In the past, every diplomatic discourse between Western powers and non-Western countries used to begin with brow-beating and embarrassment of those countries around their human rights records. Today, every diplomatic discourse between the West and a global south nation begins with a refutation of Western moral high ground. The recent BRICS conference in Kazan underscores this.
14. The neutralization of weaponize Western sanctions: Israel's actions, triggering Iran's, Yemen's and Hezbollah's actions have revealed that western sanctions against The Middle Eastern Resistance have been useless in stopping the technological and military advance of these powers. Moreover, these sanctions have served to push the middle east into the BRICS trade sphere and away from the G7 trading sphere. It is a self-strangulation of the Western economies carried out by the USA on behalf of it's garrison in Occupied Palestine. Ultimately, these sanctions backfired spectacularly, resulting effectively in the global sanction and blockade of Western shipping through the Red Sea and "tit-for tat" oil tanker confiscations in the Persian Gulf.
15. The compromise of the integrity of Western Supply Chains. The compromise of Western mobile device supply chains, which could only have happened through the collaboration of multiple Western states, including the collusion of parties in Taiwan (outside of the control of Beijing) and Hong Kong (controlled loosely by Beijing) has resulted in complete loss of trust in Western telecommunications equipment and alerted Beijing and Moscow to potential compromise in their own supply chains. While the implications of this are still unfolding the future success of western exports and Israel's inclusion in the supply chains are now in question. China is now, even more than before, not only the "supplier of volume" but also the "supplier of trust".
16. Due to the actions of Israel, the US has been exposed to its people and the UN community (UNSC, UNGA) as completely under control of the Zionist Lobby. It is no longer a government of the people by the people (if ever it was!). In the past, it was suspected that Israel had some influence over American foreign and home policy, but now it is certain that Israel controls American foreign policy in totality. The question of which part of the dog is the tail and which the dog has become meaningless - it's all "dog". Moreover, this compromise of the State, the subversion of Western governments to the purposes of the Zionist lobby, has been repeated on other Western governments like Germany, France, Britain. We have just witnessed the destruction of 'Pax' Americana and its replacement by 'Pax' Judaica. Thus, the prediction of Sheikh Imran Hossein has been fulfilled.
17. Well done on the genocide front! Israel has progressed quite far in it's genocide of the Gazan Palestinian population within the last 12 months. The depopulation of the Gaza strip is well on it's way by means of sickness, starvation more than missiles and bombs. For this there will be a price to pay in the eyes of history, for the Zionists if Israel have provided the excuse (not justification) for some enterprising tyrant to commit future persecutions and genocides against the Jews - and others.
18. Israeli economy is destroyed along multiple vectors for the foreseeable future. MNCs with offices in Israel have been negatively impacted. Affected business range from individual companies that cannot operate in Israel anymore due to instability and loss of workforce, to larger corporations whose ethical compliance measures require them to decouple from Israel. The impact extends to companies that cannot tolerate the disruption to energy infrastructure and logistics lines.
19. New, persistent threats that cannot be remedied by the West have been created. The Houthi and the Iraqi Hashds being one case in point. There's just no end in sight here. These actors are going to be around for years, threatening the viability of Israel as a "peaceful place for the Jews" and turning it into merely another American garrison in the Levant.
20. Degraded Israeli gas and Oil infrastructure in the Mediterranean. Recent strikes have not only destroyed some of Israel's gas platforms in the Med but demonstrated that Iran has the ability to wipe out Israel's energy infrastructure. Israel will now have to recalculate the security of its energy supply. Any customers of Israel's gas and oil production will have to recalculate their energy security equations.
21. Ensured continuity of the Resistance. The further radicalization of Hezbollah by removal of the conservative elder leadership has resulted in the younger, more aggressive, less restrained commanders to take the lead. Moreover, the remaining elder leadership in the Shura council have been painfully reminded that there is no negotiating with the Israelis and the Americans and that the only way out is to fight. The murder of national heroes like Hassan Nasrallah has very likely galvanized the youth of Lebanon. In a similar vein, the next generation of Hamas and Al Qassam fighters, now still children, have been created in the camps of Gaza, the West Bank, Ein Al Hilwe and other Lebanese Palestinian camps and the Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan and Syria. This is the primary reason for the American and Israeli murder campaign against Palestinian children and babies.
22. A distraction for the USA and the Western Imperium: Ultimately the debacle in Occupied Palestine, engineered and sustained by Benjamin Netanyahu has posed a major drain on American resources. It is a distraction from confronting bigger, more threatening adversaries like China and Russia. The more cognitive energy, financial resources and political capital the USA has tied up in the Middle East conflict, the less it has left to confront serious developments on the Russia and China fronts. The BRI, for example continues apace. Chinese and Russian space and marine developments proceed by leaps and bounds. Chinese chip manufacture has reached the 7 nm scale and 4 nm is in testing. Hypersonic missile development in Russia and China has outpaced American developments by leaps and bounds. China has achieved a 6g Transmission network implementation. China operates the biggest space station human kind has ever deployed.
23. The UN has been exposed as an impotent and in fact detrimental organization: Israel, through it's own behavior at the UN has exposed the entire organization, from the ICC, ICJ, UNSC, UNGA and even organizations like UNRWA as completely impotent for all tasks that do not support the interests of the Western Powers. While this has been obvious since the comprise of the OPCW some years ago, the rot has been exposed at all levels of the UN and repeatedly hammered home by the Israeli representatives at the UN. Nobody can ignore it anymore, nobody other than those benefiting from the grift.
24. It Bleeds: The vulnerability of Israel, it's economy, it's military and it's allies has been exposed by non-state actors who have now demonstrated that they are able to keep this so called regional 'superpower' bleeding for a straight year while being severely under-supplied, outgunned, outnumbered. Should other Arab countries decide at any point that Israel no longer serves their purposes in the Middle East, they've seen the evidence that Israel is not invincible and on the contrary, remarkably vulnerable.
25. Weakening of the Lebanese, Iraqi, Syrian and Yemeni State is a Strengthening of Hezbollah and the Houthi Movement: Israel, in taking the wrecking ball to Lebanese and Yemeni civilian government and sovereignty has created an environment in which the state will never be able to hold a monopoly on violence. The entire extent of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen will therefore remain free and open for Hezbollah and Ansarallah to operate without government restraint. Even if this "freedom" is the freedom of chaos.
26. It can be terrified into paralysis: The delayed response of Israel to Iran's latest hypersonic attack has been uncharacteristic. It demonstrates that the mere use of violence is sufficient to paralyze not only the Israeli Occupation State Apparatus but also that of the wider Anglo-American Empire, which itself seems scared of retaliating directly against Iran.
27. The World notes this. For perhaps the first time in history, war crimes accusations leading to actual arrest warrants have been issued against Israeli individuals (by the ICJ). Yes, with much reluctance, but it indicates that even the Zionist dominated West is beginning to crack under the stress of it's own contradictions. These contradictions will merely expand further ...
28. The utter failure of the Lebanon Ground invasion and discredit of the IDFs power: It is clear that the IDF's ground invasion of Lebanon is a failure when compared with Israel's previous invasion and occupation of Beirut. In an era where the IDF/IOF should have enhanced military technology and training, the full support of the West, it's performance on the ground has only been a fraction of what it could once demonstrate. Even if the IDF/IOF ever manages to grind its way to Beirut, it will arrive there a bruised and battered remnant of itself. Then, the real war will begin ...
29. The IDF/IOF and the so called 'State' of Israel has been exposed to be a fully dependent and indivisible organ of the American Empire: The complete dependence on massive airlifts of American weapons, THAAD, American Political Intervention in the U.N and other arenas has exposed Israel as nothing without life support infrastructure provided by the Americans. The image of Israel as a viable future state for the Jews has thus been utterly shattered. It cannot exist for now or ever without Uncle Sam behind it. When the Empire Falls. Israel goes with it. Israel's enemies (and allies) will note this and plan accordingly.
How will all these "sensitive initial conditions" - these "achievements" - combine over the next 6 - 12 months to form greater unintended effects? It's anyone's guess but the picture doesn't look good for Israel regardless of how it looks for the rest of the Levant. Winning!

'People who think of either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris as decent or acceptable simply have not realized how immensely evil you have to be to become a US president. In order to support either Harris or Trump you need to have an extreme ignorance of the murderousness and depravity of the US empire, which they both serve. Only a complete failure to see and understand the vast scale of the abusiveness of the US power structure could cause you to view these two candidates as meaningfully different from each other — let alone see one of them as decent enough to be worthy of your support. Both Trump and Harris are auditioning for a role that will necessarily entail the creation of mountains of human corpses by US-sponsored violence, as has every viable US presidential candidate throughout our lives.
This is because the US empire is deeply evil. Not the country called the United States in and of itself, but the globe-spanning power structure which functions as an empire that’s structured around it. This vast power structure is held together by rivers of human blood, and if you’re the Democratic or Republican nominee to lead it as president then you are necessarily a deeply evil person, because you have sufficiently assured all the necessary powers that be that you will continue that bloodshed in order to become the nominee.
Most Americans (and most westerners generally) fail to truly see and understand how profoundly evil the US-centralized empire is, which is the only thing that allows all this political energy to go into pretending there are these hugely significant differences between the Democrat and the Republican presidential candidate every four years. If they could really ingest the scale of the empire’s brutality and tyranny with a deep sense of empathy for their fellow human beings upon whom it is inflicted, they would never support anyone who is pledged to help operate the slaughter machine, and they would not see any would-be operators of that machine as meaningfully different from any other. All they would see is the need for the slaughter machine to be dismantled.
The most sophisticated propaganda engine ever created exists to prevent this understanding from taking root, in the west generally and in the United States in particular. Americans are the most propagandized population on this planet, and their propaganda indoctrination is at its most intensive during the quadrennial performance ritual known as the US presidential race. The whole thing is geared toward falsely exaggerating the differences between the two candidates while drawing emphasis away from the 99 percent of the issues on which they are indistinguishable from each other. And those 99 percent similarities happen to be on all the most murderous and tyrannical behaviors of the US government.
If Americans weren’t so aggressively propagandized and indoctrinated, this would all be obvious to them, and this election race performance wouldn’t get them clapping along like children at a puppet show...'

'One of the very few good things coming out of the relentless nightmare happening in Gaza is that at long last the western world is getting a clear look at Israel. The real Israel. Not the Israel they teach you about in school. Not “the only democracy in the middle east,” where Jews were given safe haven after their victimization at the hands of the Nazis and managed to create a thriving society despite existing in a sea of savage enemies bent on their destruction. Not that Israel. The real one'
'...Here are my five reasons why I believe Trump will fall short—again.
1. Neoconservative Entrenchment Trump’s campaign rhetoric against “war hawks” has been contradicted by his cabinet choices, which include figures deeply entrenched in neoconservative foreign policy. The likely appointments of Mike Waltz and Elise Stefanik signal continuity with the interventionist policies of past administrations. This reflects a failure to address the public’s demand for an end to endless wars and a redirection of resources to domestic priorities so much in need.
2. A Pattern of Broken Promises During Trump’s first term, he inherited conflicts abroad and pledged to de-escalate. Although his administration did not start any major new conflict, he intensified involvement, from assassinating General Qasem Soleimani to continuing the occupation of Syria. This track record casts doubt on his ability—or willingness—to shift away from America’s long-standing foreign policy approach and the maintenance of 800 plus U.S. military bases around the globe at almost one trillion dollar cost, so much needed for domestic challenges.
3. Shifting Priorities, Same Tactics While Trump’s administration appears poised to wind down support for Ukraine, this doesn’t mark an end to interventionism. Instead, the focus is shifting toward more significant confrontations with China and Iran.
Before Trump’s victory, Benjamin Netanyahu seemed to adopt a courting approach to gain Trump’s favour for his vision of Greater Israel and his relentless efforts to crush Iran, which he knows is only possible with U.S. support. Judging by Trump’s appointees and the choice of the new American ambassador to Israel, there are clear signs that the newly elected President is willing to acquiesce to this agenda. This reallocation of resources suggests a reshuffling of priorities rather than a true departure from aggressive foreign policy.
4. Systemic Continuity Over Individual Leadership The consistent presence of neoconservative figures across successive administrations underscores a systemic issue: the near-impossibility of breaking free from the influence of powerful interest groups and institutional inertia that shape U.S. foreign policy. This system operates beyond the control of any single leader, driven by entrenched interests such as defence contractors, think tanks and lobbying organizations. Key players include defence industry giants like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Boeing, which benefit from prolonged military engagements and exert influence through campaign contributions and lobbying. Additionally, institutions such as the Department of Defense, the State Department, and intelligence agencies maintain a strong preference for interventionist strategies to preserve U.S. global dominance. U.S. foreign policy is shaped within a tight-knit ecosystem of government institutions, think tanks, and defence contractors, with individuals frequently moving between these sectors. For example, Lloyd Austin, the current Secretary of Defense under Biden, previously served on the Board of Directors at Raytheon before his appointment. Think tanks such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Center for a New American Security, Hudson Institute and the Atlantic Council further reinforce these policies, shaping public discourse and advising policymakers in ways that perpetuate aggressive, hawkish foreign policy. This deeply entrenched bi-partisan ecosystem undermines Trump’s narrative of being a disruptor, as it ensures continuity in U.S. foreign policy regardless of campaign rhetoric or electoral outcomes.

Bait-and-Switch Politics: Trump’s campaign leveraged anti-war rhetoric to galvanize public support, yet his actions suggest a repeat of the “bait-and-switch” tactics observed during his first term. This disconnect between campaign promises and policy implementation risks alienating voters disillusioned by unfulfilled commitments. The “Bait-and-Switch Politics” tactic often exploits the trust and expectations of voters, leading to disillusionment when the advertised agenda is swapped for one aligned with special interests or political expediency. In Trump’s case, his anti-war rhetoric during campaigns has consistently been replaced by appointees who probably will maintain or escalate U.S. interventionism abroad. Climate change or environmental matters were not mentioned above because Trump has promised nothing in favour of these areas. On the contrary, he has made it clear he intends to fully side with the oil industry...'
